Office cooling - split units

Split air conditioners are only practical where the condenser can remain outside. Normally the connecting umbilical is run through a small window opening, or a hole drilled in the wall for the purpose, and the condenser is suspended temporarily from the window frame. This type of unit is similar to an installed system in that it is generally quieter and it recirculates the cooled air inside the room which makes it more effective than a monobloc unit of the same rating.

Delivery and collection of units is charged at £10/unit each way with a minimum charge of £40. This cost includes for setting up the unit, instructing on it's use and providing any other fittings needed for a good installation. If, in exceptional circumstances, there are any additional installation costs, these will be discussed and shown on the hire agreement.

Air conditioner hire for offices – These air conditioners are chosen for office use as they are quiet in operation so that they can be run all day, close to where staff are working. The ability of some of these air conditioning hire units to evaporate off the condensate collected means that there is no need for regular emptying of a water container.
